Delete your account
You can delete your Umama account and all associated personal data at any time. Two paths are available.
Option 1 - In the app (fastest)
- Open Umama on your device.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are removed from our systems.
Option 2 - By email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your Umama account:
- To: support@umama.ai
- Subject: Delete my account
We will verify ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Account (email, password hash, verification state, preferences).
- Mother and baby profiles.
- All tracking records: sleep, feeding, water, protein, vitamins, mood, dreams, events, routines, reminders, moments.
- Uploaded photos (baby, moment, dream).
- AI chat conversations and messages.
- Push-notification device tokens.
- Sendbird chat channel and messages associated with your account.
What is retained (and why)
- Anonymized aggregates that cannot be linked back to you.
- Encrypted backup snapshots for up to 30 days, after which they roll off automatically.
- Records we are legally required to keep.
